About aimaitred
aimaitred is an AI video menu, and everything that happens after the order. It is a working product running in real venues, not a concept.
What we build
A guest scans a QR code at the table. No app, no download, no registration. They browse dishes as full screen video, ask an AI waiter what is gluten free or what goes with the ribeye, order, split the bill the way the table actually wants to split it, and pay by card from their own phone.
Behind the guest, the same system runs the venue: kitchen display, bar queue, floor map, a walk-in waiting list, reservations, staff scheduling, suppliers, stock and plate costing, with an AI assistant that reads the venue's own data and flags what needs attention before anyone asks.
What aimaitred is not
aimaitred is not affiliated with Maitre'D POS, a separate and older restaurant point of sale product with a similar sounding name. We are also not a till and we do not replace one. The name is a contraction of AI Maitre d'.
How we make money
A monthly subscription, and nothing else. Guest card payments run through the venue's own terminal, so the money goes from the guest straight to the venue. We never hold it and we take 0% of it, on every plan. Our prices are published in full, because a price behind a sales call is a price you are meant to feel bad about asking for.
Where we work
Venues in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, Italy, the United States and Colombia. The venue's own dashboard runs in five languages, and the guest menu runs in 25, detected automatically from the guest's phone.
