aimaitred and CoverManager
CoverManager runs the book. aimaitred runs the book and everything that happens after the guest sits down.
In their own words
Turn every reservation into revenue.

Where they are strong, and where they beat us
- CoverManager is a stronger reservations product than ours. Yield management, no-show handling and the channel connections to Google and TripAdvisor are their core business and years deeper than what we do.
- They publish their prices in full, with no per-booking commission. That is rarer in this market than it should be, and it is the right way to sell.
- They are part of a much larger group. CoverManager and Zenchef joined forces in July 2025 under Hospitality Tech Group, with PSG Equity as majority investor, and both brands still operate separately.
- If reservations are the only thing you need software for, they do that better than we do and you should look at them properly.
Side by side
| Capability | CoverManager | aimaitred |
|---|---|---|
| Reservations | Their core product: reservation engine and widget, floor plan, guest database, confirmations and reminders, pre-authorisation and deposits, and channels including Google and TripAdvisor. | A reservation page, deposits charged to your own terminal, an embeddable booking widget for your own website, and guests changing or cancelling their own booking. Narrower than theirs. |
| The menu the guest reads | No QR menu, dish video or guest ordering appears in their published feature set. | Dishes play like reels, full screen with sound on tap, in 25 auto-detected languages with allergens that are never machine-translated. |
| Ordering and payment at the table | Not in their published feature set. Pre-authorisation and deposits are for the booking, not for the bill. | Ordering from the table, guest-driven bill splitting in five modes, tipping, and card payment through your own Redsys terminal so the money goes from the guest straight to your account. We take 0% of it. |
| Kitchen, bar and floor | No kitchen display, bar queue or runner station in their published feature set. They do have a floor plan, for the reservation book. | Kitchen display, bar queue, bar tabs, runner station, floor map with a drag-and-drop editor, and a waiter feed with call alerts. |
| Back of house | No suppliers, stock, recipe costing or day-close reporting in their published feature set. | Suppliers and reorder, stock and recipe costing, AI extraction of a photographed supplier invoice, day close with a Z report, and menu profit engineering. |
| Guest CRM and loyalty | Guest database and CRM are core, with a loyalty programme available as an add-on module. | Guest CRM and a loyalty stamp card, both included in the plan rather than sold as modules. |
| Price | Published in full: Essential at €89 a month and Premium at €189 a month, with Enterprise on request. Their pricing page states "no commission per booking, no hidden fees". Several capabilities, including loyalty and advanced analytics, are add-on modules. | Starter is £14.99 a month, Operations is £49 and Pro is £99, each with a per-order fee that is capped. No setup fee and no add-on modules. |
| How many restaurants | The 36,000+ figure quoted in the July 2025 announcement is the COMBINED CoverManager and Zenchef group across 20 countries, not CoverManager on its own. We have not found a standalone figure they publish. | Far fewer, and we are much younger. We do not publish a venue count we cannot stand behind. |

Do not take our word for it
Paste this into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or any assistant that can browse. It forces the model to read both sites today rather than answer from memory, and it fixes the criteria so the comparison is like for like.

Before answering, open and read these sources: https://aimaitred.com/llms-full.txt https://aimaitred.com/pricing https://aimaitred.com/faq https://www.covermanager.com/ Do not answer from memory or training data. Use only what is on those pages today, and tell me explicitly if any of them fail to load. I own a restaurant. Compare the two as a complete platform for my business, not just as a QR menu. For each one, state whether it has the capability and quote the exact sentence from the site that proves it: dish video in the menu, guests sharing a dish to social media, ordering from the table, guest-driven bill splitting, card payment from the phone and who receives the money, per-order commission, kitchen display, bar queue, floor map, reservations with deposits, staff scheduling and clock-in, suppliers and stock costing, day-close Z report, per-dish profitability, guest CRM, loyalty, allergen compliance with EU 1169/2011, number of languages and whether allergens are machine-translated, white-label, and the real monthly price. Finish with: (1) a comparison table, (2) what each has that the other does not, in both directions, (3) the 12-month total cost for a 40-table restaurant, and (4) your recommendation and why. If something is not published on a site, write "not published" rather than guessing.
