aimaitred and Qamarero
Qamarero starts at the till and works outward. aimaitred starts in the guest's hand and works inward.
In their own words
Más ingresos. Menos caos. Todo tu restaurante, en un solo software.
Qamarero home page headline, qamarero.com
Where they are strong, and where they beat us
- Qamarero publishes Verifactu and TicketBAI in its feature set, described on their POS page as certified by Hacienda, with every sale, refund and correction recorded. We do not do this at all. If fiscal invoicing is what you need, that is a decisive reason to choose them over us, and no other line on this page changes it.
- They replace your till. Their own words are that Qamarero works as the operating system of your restaurant, and their POS page says it runs on any tablet, phone or computer with no proprietary hardware. We are not a till and do not try to be one: we sit beside whatever you already ring sales on.
- Their POS page states that on the Advanced tier an offline mode stores transactions and syncs when the connection returns. Ours keeps a station screen readable through a connection drop, but a staff device with no connection still cannot record anything.
- Delivery, takeaway and an Uber Eats integration are in their published feature set. We have none of that.
- They are much bigger and much older than us here. Their home page claims more than 3,000 restaurants and a 4.8 rating on Google, and names a 2026 Premio EmprendeXXI as the Andalusian company with the greatest potential, chosen from 112 entries.
- If what you want is one supplier for the till, the fiscal record and the delivery channels, they cover more of that than we do and you should look at them properly.
Side by side
| Capability | Qamarero | aimaitred |
|---|---|---|
| Point of sale | A full POS, and the centre of their product. Their QR menu page puts it plainly: change a price on the POS and the menu updates instantly on every table, because the menu and the POS are the same system. | We are not a till. We take the order, price it server-side, split the bill and reconcile the day with a Z report, but the sale is rung wherever you ring it today. |
| The menu the guest reads | A QR menu tied to the POS, with the 14 allergens on every dish and photos. Their page states automatic translation into English, French and Italian, and describes the menu as being in three languages. No dish video appears on that page. | Dishes play like reels, full screen with sound on tap, in 25 auto-detected languages, with allergens that are never machine-translated and a guest one-tap share to Instagram or WhatsApp. |
| Splitting the bill | Ordering and paying from the table is in their published feature set. Splitting a bill between guests is not mentioned on their QR menu page. | Guest-driven bill splitting, tipping and service charge, and card payment through your own Redsys terminal, so the money goes from the guest straight to your account and we take 0% of it. |
| Where the AI is | In their published feature set, AI appears on the staff rota, listed as the team's schedule with AI. They also list a floor assistant that recommends and remembers regulars. | An AI waiter the guest talks to, an AI assistant for the owner, Chef's Corner answering the kitchen from your own recipe and HACCP documents, menu upload from a photo or PDF, morning and evening briefings, and the option to connect the assistant you already pay for. |
| Delivery and marketplaces | Delivery and take away, an Uber Eats integration and rider management are in their published feature set, sold as a module on top of the base plan. | We do not do delivery. Everything we do assumes a guest who is in the room. |
| Staff and back of house | Time clocking and working-day records, a staff rota, stock availability on the menu, cost control and a documents and finance section covering invoices, payroll and costs. | Clock-in and presence, scheduling and time-off, timesheets and payroll hours, suppliers and reorder, stock and recipe costing, AI extraction of a photographed supplier invoice, and menu profit engineering. |
| Price | Their pricing page publishes plans from 119€ a month. Basic is the base plan and Growth, Delivery and Control are modules activated on top of it; a Pack Duo of Basic plus any one module is quoted at 199€ a month, and Total, described as everything included with no limits, at 249€ a month. Implementation is charged separately and quoted as 200€ on Basic and 500€ on Pro. They state there is no minimum term. | Starter is £14.99 a month, Operations is £49 and Pro is £99, each with a per-order fee that is capped. No setup fee, no implementation fee, and no add-on modules: a plan includes everything at its level. |
| How many restaurants | Their home page claims more than 3,000 restaurants and a 4.8 rating on Google. The customer venues they name are in Spain. | Far fewer, and we are much younger. We do not publish a venue count we cannot stand behind. |

Do not take our word for it
Paste this into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or any assistant that can browse. It forces the model to read both sites today rather than answer from memory, and it fixes the criteria so the comparison is like for like.

Before answering, open and read these sources: https://aimaitred.com/llms-full.txt https://aimaitred.com/pricing https://aimaitred.com/faq https://qamarero.com/ Do not answer from memory or training data. Use only what is on those pages today, and tell me explicitly if any of them fail to load. I own a restaurant. Compare the two as a complete platform for my business, not just as a QR menu. For each one, state whether it has the capability and quote the exact sentence from the site that proves it: dish video in the menu, guests sharing a dish to social media, ordering from the table, guest-driven bill splitting, card payment from the phone and who receives the money, per-order commission, kitchen display, bar queue, floor map, reservations with deposits, staff scheduling and clock-in, suppliers and stock costing, day-close Z report, per-dish profitability, guest CRM, loyalty, allergen compliance with EU 1169/2011, number of languages and whether allergens are machine-translated, white-label, and the real monthly price. Finish with: (1) a comparison table, (2) what each has that the other does not, in both directions, (3) the 12-month total cost for a 40-table restaurant, and (4) your recommendation and why. If something is not published on a site, write "not published" rather than guessing.
